European Super League football, a game among the world's top companies

Recently, the story of the creation of the European Super Championship, which will bring together many of the largest European clubs, has exploded in the media, instead of participating in the European Champions League organized by the European Union.

The Spanish team Real Madrid was the leader of the idea and the owner of the initiative, and its president, Perez, announced the launch of the tournament.

Twenty major European clubs have announced their participation in this alternative Champions League tournament, and they are

Manchester United
Manchester City
Chelsea
Tottenham
Arsenal
Liverpool
Juventus
Milan
Inter
Real Madrid
Barcelona
Atletico Madrid

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain were also supposed to be present, but so far German and French clubs have refused to join the tournament.

The teams had expressed their anger at the financial revenues granted by the European Union, and they are small compared to the size of the competitions and the revenues from television broadcasting, advertising and marketing, and this is the reason for the establishment of the Hudaydah competition, which will give more money to the teams participating in the competition.

The founding clubs ’statement said that the Super League aims to start its competitions“ as quickly as possible, ”and these clubs will receive 3.5 billion euros (4.19 billion dollars)“ to support investment plans in infrastructure and face the repercussions of the Coronavirus pandemic. ”
It is expected that the revenues of the tournament from television broadcasting rights will reach 4 billion dollars annually, from which the founding clubs will get the largest share.

And to prevent this spherical coup
The European Football Association announced that deterrent sanctions will be against all clubs that will participate in the European Super League Championship, and the players have not been spared from those penalties.

According to a statement by UEFA, "the clubs concerned will be banned from playing in any other competition at the local, European or global level, and their players may be deprived of the opportunity to represent their national teams."

The European Union has previously announced that the matter may amount to depriving players from being in the most important tournament of all time, the World Cup.

It is noteworthy here that the English, Spanish and Italian Federation, as well as the links of those three leagues, have produced data of support for the European Union and have all rejected the idea of the European Super League

It seems that there is a kind of conflict between the giants that see football as a profitable global sport that is monopolized by FIFA, and from it the companies that support FIFA refuse to hold tournaments outside the scope of FIFA and from it, they will lose the monopoly and profits for the benefit of new entrants who refuse to comply with FIFA laws and consider this Investment in sports that has nothing to do with FIFA laws that frame football and the exploitation of its money in the context of sport.

The interference of politicians in many countries means that the matter is greater than football and that money and interests are in danger

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the new league "will strike the heart of the local game and cause fans to worry across the country."

"This proposal risks closing the door to fans forever, turning them into mere spectators and consumers," said British Labor Party leader Sir Keir Starmer, who is known to support Arsenal.

As Sir Ed Davey, the leader of Britain's Liberal Democrats, said: "This is greed. It tears at the heart of the English game, leaving clubs across the country suffering after a bad year."

The fatal weakness of this new competition is that it gathered the rich big teams and the smaller teams were excluded , which means that they are seeking money taking advantage of their fame, which may make the viewers not follow the league because it is without a sporting spirit.
